Jewelry with a purpose. This piece was created using broken bus stop glass. I bought it because I fell in love with the why for this program when I visited the location during my Urban Chicago Mission trip. is a teen girls youth program through that empowers teens through mentorship and entrepreneurship in Little Village and Humboldt Park Chicago. Each original piece is handcrafted by a teen girl .

Do you know what these are? Sliders used in floor Pilates. Today was the first time I did a whole workout using only these. And WOW! These have taken my workout to a whole new level of intensity! 💪🏼Just But don’t worry, I have been slowly building up my strength, flexibility and balance over the last 9 weeks with the 90 Day Barre Program with created by former professional ballerina, Lakers Girl and Clipper Girl. Workouts are never boring with enough variety and challenge, yet doable even for an older girl like me!

I’m not working out for a Summer Body. I work out so I can stay strong and flexible 20-30 years from now. So I can play on the floor with my grandchildren. So I can remain independent and not become a fall risk. So my brain stays healthy to ward off dementia. So I can regulate my mood and sleep better! To extend fun in my life. Thank you for creating the 90 day program that does all that!

After 14 months of Social Media, I am back. Having a little FOMO ATM. For my mental health (which I am still working on) I needed to take a break. Lots of things have happened over that time - time with family, vacations, mission trips, home repairs, filled with happiness, joy and most recently, tears from the loss of a significant and beloved member of our family. The snapshots here don’t really cover all the moments and don’t really capture the ups and downs of the past year and especially the last few months. Grief is hard. Taking a walk through the life of loved one who is no longer with us, through their personal belongings,is really hard. Some days are better than others. But we are getting there…. Step by step…

One year ago I was in Poland serving Ukrainian Refugees and providing relief for the Polish people. It was a blessing to serve those in need while making lifelong friends. ♥️
