Sometimes your Plan B is better than your Plan A. We certainly feel for all these Brides who have had to divert from their dream weddings that they have spent a year or more planning and then having to replan and even sometimes re-book and replan multiple times. There is no other way to put it, besides it SUCKS!

But, it’s making the lemonade out of lemons. I may not be speaking for the Bride but as the wedding photographers - this wedding was PERFECT! How many OLL weddings have we been to and photographed the “first dance” outside the steps of the church? NONE! It was magical and special! Then they had the cutest intimate reception at the Brides parents house that made the PERFECT backdrop for the Bride and Groom formals! There will never be another wedding that will replicate this on the Northshore... now how about that?? That’s some good lemonade!!

Daniel and McKay we are so blessed to have been apart of you wedding day! We will all be ready to celebrate BIG at some point! Cheers!

We always knew this would happen, we just didn't know when or the reason behind it. When we started this journey together over 10 years ago, we had friends and even family members discourage us, saying never start a business with your best friend, it never ends well. Well, our nay-sayers couldn't be more wrong. Through years of self teaching, new equipment, maneuvering updated software ,new websites, blogging, we did it all TOGETHER as a team. We continued to better ourselves and our business every year. We joke with each other, because we sometimes feel like old grandmas in a world full of millennials and social media, but we always did it TOGETHER. But, like the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end". We have to tell you with a very heavy heart, Kristin and Heather wedding photography has to come to an end. Kristin and her family have an awesome opportunity to live in Georgia and are moving today.

As many of our clients have seen us working together, you know that we are like yin and yang, work husband and wife, twin sisters or like Blake Shelton sings " you'll be my sunny day and Ill be your shade tree ". We can be opposite in many ways, but you can't have one without the other. There is no replacement for Kristin, and I don’t see myself finding a different wedding partner. But my heart is still fully in love with photographing weddings and sharing such glorious days with many families! Lucky for me, The reality of lots of small intimate weddings happening over the next year may help me continue my love of photographing weddings by myself.

So as God has closed one door for Kristin and I, it will open a new door, with a great opportunity to spark my creativeness and fill a hole in my heart and bless me as he has blessed the Perry Family!

So as for right now we will soak up the last few weddings that we have booked for this year. With a few being rescheduled due to Covid, we get to postpone the closing of K and H a little longer! We will knock them out of the park and end K and H the same way we started 10 years ago, ambitious, creative, inspired and doing it alongside my best friend!..

Time to show my age...so I have known the groom since he was literally a baby! I use to babysit for him and his sister and our families were close and even went on vacations together. It’s hard to believe he’s now a handsome grown man who married the girl of his dreams! It literally feels like yesterday that I was laying him down in his crib! So so happy for Mitchell and Kaitlin and wish them ALL the happiness in the world! And so glad Mother Nature was showing off big time for their wedding day, this golden sunlight was super magical for their pictures!

Happiest of birthdays to this girl!! My best friend, my partner in crime, my ride or die. She’s an incredible friend, awesome business partner, super mom and full of life and laughter! We’ve gone from high school friends, to first time moms, to business partners. We’ve been each others shoulders to cry on, had the best laughs together, encouraged each other and lifted each other up. The memories we’ve made together are countless..we’ve run many miles together, witnessed each other bringing life into the world, traveled together, turned our dream of being photographers into reality and SO much more! I couldn’t do life without her and thankful every day I have her in my life! Happy birthday Heather!! Can’t wait to celebrate you tonight!
