After a very stormy couple of days here is a throwback to some classic style images created with a nine year old digital camera this week. Great to show that sometimes you don't need a huge fullframe highmegapixel camera to create great images. With the usual suspects from and my old friend Gregg Dubit the owner of DDR.

I'm so glad to repost this by the wonderful Michelle from page. Michelle has been a great supporter from the inception of the calendar and photography. I did a photoshoot out in McElmo Canyon this summer at the , they were so accommodating to allow us to spend time there and create a bunch of wonderful images. The featured image here is for the month of July. I'm including some of the behind-the-scenes images in this post.

Sneak peek all week for the 2025 Extreme Knitting Calendar. It’s been a busy year traveling to far flung places to create a visually expanded second edition.

This photo was taken in the lonely, windswept hills of the Outer Hebrides…a perfect place for a poetically minded person to sit and knit. This photo is featured in the 2025 Extreme Knitting calendar. It is pure coincidence that the Fair Isle vest that Betsy Fitzpatrick made 25 years ago blends in so well with the landscape! she was so happy for the vest to finally find its true environment.
