I will be offering Winter Lifestyle Sessions this November, December & January. These sessions are very much about being in the moment and capturing all the movement. Candids over posed perfection.

Some ideas I have are snow days, making treats with the family, setting up and decorating your tree, wrapping gifts, etc. The options are pretty much endless!

Sessions include mileage up to 60 miles roundtrip from Madison, NE. There’s a small fee for each additional mile.

Each session is 30 minutes and I guarantee a minimum of 25 edited photos. (I usually am able to capture quite a few more.) Photos are delivered through an online gallery on my website where you are able to download the photos for printing and sharing.

A gentleman here in town recently sold his building and there were a bunch of different free seating options outside of the building today. I picked my favorite of the bunch and it was this small adorable green chair. I’m thinking of using it for a senior session or possibly a maternity shoot?? I need to clean it up a bit yet, but I just had to share.

I got everyone to look without having to face swap! I’m super proud of myself. I’m going to be honest, I don’t use photoshop as much as I used to back in the day and I’m a little rusty at it, so I try to avoid it at all costs lol. So I do what I can to “get it right” in camera. ✨

Reminder, I only post photos to social media that you are comfortable with and only with your permission. Actually, I have clients pick their top 3-15ish and that’s what I end up posting. I will always respect you and your privacy. Your experience with me as a whole will always be more important to me that adding to my portfolio! 💜

One thing about me, I will always have a touch of violet somewhere in my outfits during photoshoots. Even if it’s just a pair of earrings. I always feel like I have a part of my grandma with me then, because if you knew her, you knew her love for the color violet/purple!

She passed before I was able to officially start my business and this way I feel like she is still able to be a part of it. I just know how proud she would be to see how far I’ve come in the last 6 months.

In less than a year, I’ve gone from borrowing any DSLR I could get my hands on, to owning my own mirrorless camera and lenses, starting my own business and most importantly doing what I love to do.

Thank you for being such a great role model in my life, grandma. You’re always in the back of my mind. I miss you every single day. 💜
