Laurels & Stars Photography specializes in photographing babies and children. I am an on-location photographer and I use natural light. My style is non-traditional filled with real life, accented by the little things (the things that

we may not always notice, but want to remember); add a little touch of whimsy and artistic flair and you've got my recipe for a great photo experience. I like to bring out the colors in my photos and create something that is a bit non-traditional. I feel photography is more than just documenting what someone looks like. It’s about capturing their spirit and preserving a moment of time, that slice of life. Some of the very best photographs are born out of the most unexpected moments and their surroundings; moments that are full of candor and expression when people are not necessarily looking at the camera waiting to be photographed. It’s these moments that are the true art in life and show the true spirit. My goal is that clients will look back on their photos for years to come and remember that special time in their lives and feel the emotions between them and their loved ones. Images that carry their spirit and the love, joy, smiles and laughter that is their life.

Hey all! Last call for Holiday Mini Sessions! We're about 2/3 weeks out! You may choose from a couple backdrops: campfire/roasting marshmallows (vintage holiday campfire setting) or simple rustic backdrop (pine trees, plaids and vintage accents). Up to 20 minutes this year and two weekends to accommodate all schedules! (September 23rd and 24th or September 30th and October 1st) Yay!!!!

Exciting Announcement! I'll be doing two weekends this year for mini sessions to accommodate all clients and their schedules - AND, I'm doing full 20 minute sessions this time!! Yay! Theme is campfire and s'mores. Families will be photographed around a styled campfire while roasting marshmallows (regular family/child poses too). Available slots: 8AM-6PM - scheduled every half hour. First come, first served. E-mail: [email protected] to reserve your spot. Love you all and I'm so excited to see you!!
