Over the last several months, I’ve gotten a lot of messages asking where I’ve been, when galleries are coming, when I’ll start booking more consistently again, etc. And honestly, I feel like I owe everyone a transparent update.
Earlier this year, my main job I worked at collapsed during the winter storms, which completely turned our lives upside down overnight. In the middle of navigating all of that, I ended up dealing with some major health issues that quickly became life-threatening.
What started as procedures to treat severe vein compression turned into multiple stents, emergency complications, and an extensive DVT blood clot that almost killed me. Recovery has been long, exhausting, and honestly heavier mentally and emotionally than I expected.
Physically, I’m doing much better now. I’m healing. I’m okay. But mentally, it changed me in a lot of ways.
Since then, I’ve been trying to find balance again between family life, motherhood, healing, a new position at work, school, and photography — all while learning how to slow down and give myself grace through it all.
Photography is still something I deeply love and care about. Every session, every message, every returning client means more to me than I can explain. If you’ve waited patiently for me, checked in on me, continued supporting my business, or simply understood during this season of life… thank you. Truly.
I’m still here. Things may look a little different while I continue rebuilding and finding my rhythm again, but I’m incredibly grateful to still be able to do what I love.
If you’re waiting on a gallery, check your emails. They should all be sent out by Friday.
Thank you all for the patience, kindness, and support during one of the hardest seasons of my life. 🤍
