We had a wonderful weekend at Lamplight Equestrian Center for the September Summer Series show!

Samantha Spoon Photography and I covered both rings, both days. Photos are still being uploaded and sorted from the weekend. If you don’t see any images or all of the images, it means they aren’t uploaded yet!

September Summer Series! ☀️🍂

This weekend is the September Summer Series Horse Show and we are so excited to be back at Lamplight!

This weekend will be covered by myself and Sam of Samantha Spoon Photography! All classes and both rings will be covered both days!

Images will take longer than usual to get up on the site due to our smaller staffing situation, but I will make a post when all photos are up! I expect all images to be up on the site by the end of the day on Tuesday, September 8th.

Note: All images are UNEDITED proofs and will be cropped and color corrected when purchased before delivery via email or before images are submitted to the lab for printing.

September 🍂

The ‘ber months are finally here, which means it is time for those beautiful fall photo sessions! September is the perfect month if you still want warmer temperatures for your fall photos while some of the leaves and color tones start to change. Horse’s coats are still sleek and shiny during this time frame, making it perfect for black background sessions or even holiday minis.

I have several September dates still available for full sessions or mini sessions. I am booking equine/equestrian and portrait sessions.

My books are also open for October, November, and December.

Out of Office 💍🥳

I will be out of office Friday, August 28th through Monday, August 31st for my bachelorette trip!

This time will be spent unwinding and enjoying time with friends before my wedding in a few weeks. I am looking forward to it!

All emails and messages will be responded to on Tuesday, September 1st unless it is urgent. Gallery editing and delivering will resume Tuesday, September 1st.

Lauren & Parker 💗

Senior and Equine sessions are my top favorites to photograph, and it is extra special when they overlap!

Lauren’s session was no exception. We had extremely rainy weather all week, and despite this, we got a cloudy, but beautiful day. Parker is the cutest guy and you can tell he loves his person. There were times where he was more interested in the deer frolicking in the back field, but we won’t hold that against him.

As the night went on, the sun continued to peek through the clouds. While Lauren was doing an outfit change, the light shined into the barn aisle perfectly, giving us another unique photo opportunity.

There is so many to images that I love from this session, but here are a few favorites!

Barrels & Poles 🛢️💈

Getting to watch these events is so thrilling! Having the variety in my event/show schedule is what keeps it interesting and fun! And who doesn’t love summer golden hour nights spent with some cool horses and people?
