This is Travis. Travis rocks. Travis captivates like a pro model, even though he says he isn't comfortable in front of a camera. I think he's looking rather comfortable here.

So the backstory is this. I met Travis years ago through Northern Virginia Players and had the pleasure of capturing him on stage. We tried for years to make a portrait shoot work, and this year it finally did (due in no small part to the recent Spring weather in January).

Travis is also a photographer, and so we had a great time chatting about the different skills required to be a successful portrait photographer (I'm still trying to figure this out for myself).

It's been a week to the day that the Liberty University Department of Theatre Arts staged its final performance of the original work "Bedford Boys" written by LU Theatre's Writing Project.

I am thrilled to have had the chance to capture photos during two dress rehearsal's just prior to the show's opening night, and to be present to watch the first and last performances. The story was moving and the entire production impeccable.

Well this is embarrassing - 3 months since I've posted on my photog page. I've been mostly posting on Instagram with a cross-post to my personal page, but there's no way the image I wanted to share will look good on Instagram.

We were heading back from seeing our youngest at school when we passed what I thought was a church hiding in the trees. My wife graciously allowed me to turn around and go back, and I was rewarded with a pretty awesome looking structure surrounded by the fall leaves and blue sky.

I would have loved to go inside but the interior was undergoing renovations (so a sign on the door said), and I didn't have my tripod with me anyway.

Might have to make some inspiration prints from this one for the new bookstore my wife is helping to open :)

I'm having a terrible time trying to figure out how to consolidate posts between Instagram, Twitter, FaceBook and FaceBook Pages.

Instagram has a 10-photo limit per post, but I can automatically post to my FaceBook home and Twitter (sort of), but NOT to my FaceBook page.

FaceBook Pages allows larger file sizes, but there's no integration (as far as I know) with other platforms.

Twitter is ... well ... twitter.

Anyone solved this challenge??

By the way - this is a larger set of photos from a concert I apparently never fully processed from a few years back. I'm posting all the full-sized pics I processed (so far), which you can't see on my Instagram post because the limits imposed :(
