This little spot is seriously so sweet. A cozy farmhouse completely decorated for Christmas, twinkling lights, horses right outside, and even the chance for the kids to feed them carrots from the fence. 🥹

A little peek from last night. 🤎

We took our first big family picture at the cabin the very first summer here, so it was time to update the canvas.

And this one feels extra special because the youngest cousin finally made it to the cabin, met all of her cousins, and is officially part of the family picture now. 🥹

All 3 kids and all 6 grandkids together.

I think that first one has officially earned its spot on the cabin wall. 🤎

Newborn beach session number two before I packed up and left for family vacation. 🤍

I told myself I wasn’t going to work while I was away… but there was no way I was making this family wait to see these.

Five kids, one brand new baby girl, sandy little toes, flower crowns, lots of love, and just the right amount of beautiful chaos. This is exactly why I love photographing families the way they really are.

Now back to vacation. 😂

August 7th, 1976, they said I do.
And 50 years later, here they are.

Three children. Six grandchildren. A lifetime of memories, adventures, hard seasons, beautiful ones, and a family that started with these two.

Happy 50th Anniversary, Mom & Dad. Thank you for showing us what it means to choose each other, to keep showing up, and to always make family matter.

We’re making the drive to you today, with something pretty special packed in the car. 🥹 And in a few days, our little immediate family will all be together to celebrate the two people who started it all.

50 years deserves more than one day of celebrating. 🤍
