Hi all, welcome to a new series.
I recently reached out to my clients and asked them to send me their favorite photo I took from their wedding. (If you have not received this email please let me know and I’ll reach out. I felt this would be really sweet to see how I view the day vs how my clients view it. So first up, Ali and Josh. I will show you their favorite at the end vs my favorites I took and why. I want to show you my favorite moments and why i took them. So here goes:
First slide— the couples entrance. Truthfully, I was not planning to have a blurrier image but i loved how it turned out. You can feel the energy in the room and i think the blur portrays that as well.
This was the bride’s mom and dad kissing and I quickly snapped a photo.
This bridesmaid wiping a tear from another bridesmaid’s eye during the ceremony.
This flower girl’s reaction. Truthfully I have a million images of her from this day. She was too cute.
And finally— Ali’s favorite image. I hope you enjoyed this series. More to come. I’ve included her explanation below. ❤️
“I love ALL of the photographs from my wedding day BUT the following photograph means the most to me now because it was such a pure, candid moment of my new husband and I immediately after our ceremony. After months of anticipation, excitement and a little bit of stress leading up to the wedding, we could finally take a breath of fresh air and celebrate officially being husband and wife. On a more selfish note, the picture captures my incredible bouquet and veil + was taken in the lobby of our venue, the same exact location that my parents had gotten married 35 years earlier :)”
