A cold evening at Montana de Oro state park. This beach gets fogged in quite often, but every once in awhile, the sun breaks through and rewards you with quite the light show.

This is a shot I've been envisioning for awhile, and all it took to get was waking up at 2:30 in the morning and standing in the waves for a few hours to get everything to line up just right. Totally worth it.

Something a little different: yes, I will admit that this is photoshopped. But who cares? The tools are there, so we should be able to use them creatively to our heart's content. Hope you enjoy!

Sorry for the radio silence lately! I've been busy with school, and with the recent demise of my camera I haven't been making much content lately.

I actually have no idea who these people are. They got in the way of my shot, so I included them. I think it actually worked out better this way!

Usually, Oregon's Colombia River Gorge is one of the most visited and toured spots in the state, especially on Holiday weekends. I was there over a particularly crowded weekend, and couldn't even get near the place. The next day, however, brought a massive rain storm to the Gorge, and I got to enjoy the beautiful waterfalls almost by my self.

Most of the photos you'll see of Canon Beach in Oregon are of the famous sea stack that stands just beyond the break. I spent a day near Cannon Beach, and don't have a single picture of that sea stack. I enjoyed searching for the little things that made the place special, instead of the obvious attractions. Hope you enjoy!

Standing at the End of the World
This is the photo that killed my camera. My tripod didn't have a solid hold on the wet rocks, and as I walked back from my spot up on that rock it collapsed into a pool of water. Let's hope the rice worked well enough to save it!
