I was fortunate enough to photograph this beautiful family last week at Lexington Hills Estate and Winery. We captured the shots just before the sun went down, which is my favorite time to shoot, especially with the glow in the background.
The lighting was beautiful that day, and with the use of an off-camera flash, I couldn’t be more pleased with how the photos came out.

I love using the sun for a strong backlight with my off camera flash for beautiful lifestyle shots. We were in a new nature preserve in The Los Altos Foothills and started shooting just before the sun was beginning to set - actually shooting straight into the sun, creating the perfect backlighting for her hair and clothing. Super pleased with them all. Wonderful assistant to work with, making it an awesome afternoon shoot!

I had a wonderful photoshoot this past weekend at Oak Meadow Park, Vasona, and the Billy Jones Railroad with an awesome family. They were such a fun group to work with — and even their dog joined in, looking right at the camera (with a little prompting, of course)!

We’re so fortunate to live in an area where these beautiful parks sit side by side, offering so many unique backdrops for portraits. From the charm of the railroad to the natural beauty of the open spaces, every stop gave us something new.

Loved working with them — such a great time and some unforgettable moments captured!

This is the latest video update on SoMi Modern Condos & Townhomes in Hayward. I've been documenting this project for over three years now. The True Life Companies along with Homes Built For America have done an amazing job working together. These are two "high quality" companies working on it. Everyone I work with is amazing and at the top of their game for sure. Polaris Pacific is handling the marketing and doing a stellar job as well. Very fortunate to be a part of this team for so long.

Had a wonderful photoshoot downtown, on Santa Cruz Ave, with this amazing model last week for my Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce ad in their new magazine coming out in a couple of weeks. Quite happy with how it turned out. Can’t wait to see it in print.
