To you, DeAndre.

Those who know me know these past 5, maybe 6 years were some of the most difficult of my life, especially these recent few months. Mental state was in shambles, wasn’t taking full and proper care of myself and I was effectively incapable of leaving the house or even shoot due to covid along with other injuries. Insecurities going through the roof. I hated having my pictures taken, always self-critical of how I looked in them.

I couldn’t make time for friends from overworking then injury. FOMO was out of this world lol

I had to find myself all over again and learn to love and accept who I am, how I look, and how much I’ve grown as a man through it all.

This self-shoot is a love letter and a vow. A vow of self-acceptance. A vow of self-confidence. A vow of unconditional self-love.

I’m proud of you DeAndre. I’m proud of the man you’re becoming, and will continue to be. Keep kicking ass on both sides on the lens. 📸
