“Some women grow families; some women grow the world.” 🤎

Most of the women I photograph are in the thick of motherhood — pregnant bellies, newborns in their arms, toddlers running through the frame. But has built another kind of beautiful life: one where she is a thriving professional, a doting aunt to her nieces and nephews, and a deeply loving daughter and sister.

This personal portrait session got me reflecting on how motherhood isn’t the only way women nurture the world. We raise mentees at work, we care after our closest friends, we pour love and wisdom into the lives we touch along the way.

While bo***ir was new territory for me, this session felt unexpectedly natural. Thank you for trusting me with these personal images, , and allowing me to capture the many facets of who you are.

Kai is a dear friend from my days at Google. We photographed her first newborn session six years ago, booked many family minis along the way, and just last month we documented the arrival of their ✨fourth✨ little love at home.
