Flat Horizon Means Flat Earth? | The horizon is that line where the world and sky appear to meet. Modern science insists that because Earth is round, the horizon must also be round. Flat-earthers argue that because Earth is flat, the horizon line must also always look flat. Each side thinks the other is an idiot or a liar. Based on a video I published in early 2020, this short uses the art and science of perspective to explain the root of this problem which stems from a question not satisfactorily solved: How can the horizon appear flat, if the Earth is actually round?
