I’d like to thank everyone for their patience. I’m now able to release that I’ve sold Vertage Foods!
I appreciate everyone who helped me along the way—from chefs who opened their kitchens, to my friends who tasted my very first creations, to those who invested in me (still unbelievable). Vertage grew larger than I ever imagined, and it was all possible because of the incredible support from everyone who believed in my cheese.
Looking back, it’s humbling to think how far we’ve come—from the early days of tiny batches in Pow Pow () to now being a brand that’s found its place in kitchens, restaurants, and homes across the country. I couldn’t have done it without each one of you who gave Vertage a chance, whether by purchasing, tasting, or sharing a simple word of encouragement.
I am beyond excited to see where Vertage goes from here. With the energy, vision, and expertise of the team at Misha’s, I have no doubt the brand will continue to grow and reach new heights. It feels surreal, but I trust that the next chapter of this journey is going to be one filled with even more innovation and passion for great food.
There are two people, in particular, who deserve a special thank you. First, to Shaun Sharkey (), the unofficial wholesale sales team.
Second, to Tommaso Mazzarella (), Vertage’s head of operations, who has been a constant team player and suffered every ridiculous moment and there were many.
Lastly, to my team, partners, and loyal customers: I’m eternally grateful for everything you’ve done for Vertage. You’ve allowed me to step back into the kitchen where I belong, and I’m excited to see where the future takes us all. It’s been my pleasure to feed so many and will continue as long as you’ll have me.
Here’s to the next chapter.
