I made a little Gen X dream come true for myself yesterday. However, I did refuse the pork chops & apple sauce while making sure I got the exact camera angles from the show. Thanks to for the info. What a completely surreal experience!

When high school students turned out in droves to the anti ICE demonstrations last weekend, it was as if the battle had been joined. ICE is succeeding at melting apathy. The outrage is palpable. I photographed these students atop a public art installation across the street from LA City Hall reclaiming the Stars and Stripes. “Reclaiming” is now a 14”x20” hand signed and editioned archival print by Eric Smith

When I was photographing the protests in LA last week, this expectant couple stopped me in my tracks. Their simple sign was so powerful and so moving that I had to ask them to make a portrait.

Relive amazing memories of the 2025 World Champion Los Angeles Dodgers as seen from my unique perspective as an artist, and Angeleno and a fan.

I brought my camera to every Dodgers game that I attended including Kershaw’s 3000th K, playoffs and a World Series game. The beauty of the 2025 Dodgers is that everyone on the roster had a time to shine. When a player slumped, teammates filled the gap. They were a battle tested brotherhood who ultimately prevailed as the best team in the world. Baseball really is romantic. And dramatic. And heartbreaking. And exhilarating.

One of my first projects out of art school was as a designer on the marketing of Ken Burns “Baseball” series for PBS. I fell in love with the game back then and moved to LA shortly after. The Dodgers have been by team win or lose for 25 years.

I’m inspired by the paintings of Norman Rockwell and they inform my pictures at the ravine. I’m grieving the lack of baseball, so going through my photos is cathartic. I hope they are for you too.

Some photos from an historic night at Chavez Ravine as the Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw becomes the 20th pitcher in MLB history to achieve 3000 strikeouts. An electric sold out crowd willed Kershaw over the finish line and celebrated with an extended ovation. Amazing night! Photos from the top deck.

Los Angeles has been enduring one of the most challenging moments in it’s brief history. From wildfires that have destroyed whole neighborhoods to a struggling entertainment production environment to unprecedented deportation raids that are terrifying communities, LA has been going through it. This city has been my home for 25 years and I celebrate it through my photography. Recently I have been documenting our historic signage and murals that have become touchstones for those that live here and visitors alike. These images, part of an ongoing initiative, are a celebration of Los Angeles.

I spent the last three months working on a great project for VICI Properties Inc. that celebrates their marquee Las Vegas properties including The Venetian, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Luxor and Mandalay Bay. I traveled to Vegas in March where I spent ten days photographing interiors, exteriors, and aerials of these iconic places. After editing all the images, I designed a high end 68-page print piece featuring the selects for VICI investors. I’d like to thank the team at VICI Properties for entrusting the project to me and to for shepherding the entire endeavor and penning the articles. She was an amazing partner. The piece was beautifully printed by Craig Sheer at Sheer Print Solutions in New York. Check out some shots of the final product which was delivered earlier this week.
