I just took a great workshop with Kendra Castleberry and she said something great in regards to make up in your headshots (paraphrased):
"You should be able to look like your headshot and leave for an audition in 30 minutes. Unless your hair and make up artist lives in your home, don't take headshots with a look you can't accomplish in that time."

That being said, I of course value hair and make up artists for headshots, but take careful consideration of your level of "glam". YOU should look like YOUR headshots.

Hey LA and San Diego actress and model friends/clients, I have a shoot tomorrow in Carlsbad that starts at 11am for a new health smoothie product.
My client needs one to two more models for tomorrow. We need young ladies, between 20 and late thirties, who are fit. Yoga experience/Yoga look is a plus.

Pilot season is fast approaching, actors! I still have two openings on Monday before I leave for 10 days for my honeymoon! Get in Monday or schedule something with me in November. Get a new, fresh look for your submissions before the New Year!
