Such an amazing shoot with a super crazy story lol. It was like 100 degrees, we were wrapping up in backyard and all my gear over heated! Both of my backs and my computer. We literally lost every single photo, and and I couldn’t figure out what happened for the life of us.

It was also my first post Covid shoot. It was a total nightmare!! I had to pull to the side and tell him what happened. I then promised him I can re shoot the 6 looks within 45 mins.

I knew during our “re shoot” that I wanted to create something personal, impactful, and a representation of what I saw and how I felt.

I’m here with a Black man, raising his Black daughter (which is the cutest), as a single dad.

Coming off the horrific murder of George Floyd. A black man who called out for his mom, makes me think who do Black Women have to call out too? I believe as men and fathers we need to be there for our Black Women, Black Mother’s, Black Sisters, Black Daughters.

Thus this cover was created.

For some weird reason my post was erased last night. So here is a re-post!

Pre-COVID I decided on a “Re-Brand” for me and my style.

That also consisted on a haul on gear and working with different systems. Work was picking up and o got super excited that I made the jump into my new phase. I’m actually still happy and excited about this rebrand.
