Birthdays been weird for me my whole life, finally appreciating existing with the people I love and the ones who fuel me creatively. Took a week off to treat myself to something I’ve always wanted. Live and carry myself as an artist. We made a joke with the homies that I’ve always wanted to live my life as a trust fund baby, so I wanted to try it out for one whole week. Woke up, went to get drinks with friends, lunch with myself or the homies, went to the park, met people for nights out, connected with my peers for future creative projects. Everything felt like I was living my dreams for half of the week. Suddenly, it hit me, I was never made to live like a trust fund baby, nothing was ever handed to me, I’ve thankfully worked hard for every single dollar in my pocket, and I was extremely proud of that!

Self worth is so important! Value ourselves from the lows to the highs. We only have one vessel to live in, cherish it, nurture it, love it.

On the 14th, I woke up feeling like I belonged in this life. Happy, grateful and blessed. Went on to visit my friend MikeyMuench and hung out with Jonny Muench eli sarahlizabethh for a couple hours at Canyon Coffee . Appreciate yall! All love! ❤️❤️

Ja, Ja Tecson LEGEND, GOAT, one of my mentors, a friend, and a peer, reached out to me one morning of my “nepo baby” week, i immediately said yes to helping him. This was the actual day of my birthday, the 14th of July, the day was so beautiful and perfect. Ja said, i need to take some photos of the birthday boy! Got blessed with this photo this morning. Appreciate you brother! All love!! ❤️❤️

Ended the evening with a casual dinner with my brothers and sister Serup Jae Ha Chang Ⓥ ㅈㅈㅎ Jonny Muench MikeyMuench Raquel at Sam’s place. A beautiful simple life is all we need sometimes. Appreciate yall! All love! ❤️❤️

Sabr—Patience, endurance, and perseverance. Its something that us as humans strive for. At a time like receiving something instantly, we forget that the beauty of patience is to be in the present. It is to observe the beautiful things and people around you. Sabr makes you appreciate it more due to the slowness of the process. When things are slowed down, we tend to notice more and more of these little details. When it comes to instant culture, we expedite the process and negate the beauty of life. This is just a self reminder to have more sabr in order to see the most beautiful things we didn’t notice in our surroundings.

Motherland. Though my residence is not there anymore, my heart will be forever there till the end. Recently, there had been a huge pouring of rain in the country. The city’s infrastructure is not the best and with that, the country is suffering a great deal from that. There there is no immediate solution to this, funds that are possible to raise will help people who have been negatively affected help in any shape or form. I ask for your help in these dire times.

I’m hosting a film portrait session at .co that my friend John has graciously gifted us for the use of this cause. At times like these community is the best resource and representation for any relief. Come pull up, get your portraits taken by me and donate whatever you can to the cause. If you can’t make it, you can also donate by sending something via Venmo or Zelle. DM me for that information if you need to.

A friend of mine asked me about how it feels to turn another year wiser. Life typically goes up, down and side to side just like rollercoasters. Sometimes we have beautiful days that we wish that never ended, there are however those days that we just dread spending another minute in.

Recently had the pleasure of spending a beautiful evening with some friends from way back when and some friends that came into my life recently. To be stressed out the entire time was definitely one of the feelings I got when it came to be the host and make everyone comfortable. The feeling of everything going perfectly where all I see in this space are my people, people from different sides of the world in one place,
Oh my it’s one of the most mesmerizing sights in my opinion.

Wanted to thank everyone in my life that have made this journey called life a little bit more colorful and beautiful. I appreciate you all for sharing your love and support with me. It’s definitely something I don’t take for granted. Every second of these energy exchanges are important for me. Hopefully we get to continue this journey together for many years to come and solidify these beautiful bonds.
