They say it takes a village, the village pulled up for the solo show called Stamp of Courage!

Appreciate each and every one of you that came to see the show, sent me texts, reached out in different forms, all the hugs. Still can’t get over the love I’ve been receiving throughout this journey.

When we don’t have anything in our control, the search for one thing that stays consistent is the purpose of our existence.

Following is Beatrix’s story:

Growing up playing the cello, I wondered to what extent the vibrations and melodies and experience of it shaped me, who I am as a person, how I think. Following my family across several countries, living in over ten homes by the time I was 18... few things in life were consistent. The cello was one of those few things. Sadly, my relationship to it wasn’t entirely positive. I resented the obligation of it, but felt so deeply identified with playing it. It was mine. It was me. When I left for college I finally put an end to playing.. now, a decade later, I’ve started playing again out of curiosity.
I quickly realized that a part of myself I was missing existed somewhere in my relationship to this instrument.

Life goes up and then down, but we still remain the same. When we feel like the word is out against us, we forget that once we know the key to reset ourselves we can then move forward with our trials and tribulations. We forget to ground ourselves from time to time, try these with me. Let me know how you feel after this.

Open studio, open conversation, open hear makes you create the most intimate experience hence create this beautiful art together.

Had the opportunity to host an open studio this past weekend. A big thank you to the gracious human being John Garduno , the GOAT! Appreciate you for letting me use your lovely studio which always creates a safe space for whoever comes in and steps foot inside. Truly a gem of a space! Thank you so much bro bro! Truly means the world to me!

A big thank you to everyone who pulled up! To the ones that found me through their FYP to the homies who’ve I’ve known for a while now. Thank you sooo much for showing up for yourself and blessing me with your presence and sharing your love and kindness with us.

Can’t wait to do a next one! Possibly in Paris?! Who knows what the future holds for us! Till then, let’s enjoy these little moments together of this past weekend!

It’s been a blessing these days getting to know people these few years, blessed and grateful to meet everyone who’s pull up to these open studios, either to take photos or to just hanggg. Love yall!

Heading to Paris from October 16th to 26th. Really hoping to continue doing this and possibly have a studio session there. If you or anyone you know have a studio they can bless me for a day or two, it would be amazing so we can bring some beautiful human beings in one place!
