In the process of opening up an online store and did a little rebranding/makeover for the business. I am very excited to introunce you all to the brand new PhotoJeniK Designs! Final Project for my editing class. Considering I have no lighting/proper sound equipment/zero experience with green-screen/No proper green-screen(had to use my tv, which did not work out great because it's a light source), I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

This was just a silly project, but I kind of like how it turned out, and that it looks like an older commercial. Enjoy!

Class assignment from today was to create an ad campaign for a musical tour. I chose one of my favorite bands: Blink-182 and titled the tour: "What's My Age Again?!". I had to create a poster for the side of a bus stop, a square poster for a store window and a billboard.

This was my assignment for today. Got to come up with a comic book idea for kids grades 3-7 and then design a of the cover for the comic.

- Pick a place, an action verb and a name at random.

- What does the main character want?
To save his family

- Is there an obstacle in the character’s way?
He has to run through the streets San Francisco, but he has asthma and used to be overweight when he was younger. His running over the years has caused problems for his shin bones from all the impact over the years. The brisk San Francisco air is hard on his asthma and lungs when he runs outdoors.

- How does the main character get what he or she wants?
He has been running since he was overweight to not only lose weight, but beat his asthma as well. It's the future and he has a special suit designed to help him with his asthma and shin bones when running and he tweaks it to make himself run faster than normally possible, but he has to hold his breath for an extra huge burst of speed.

- Write the title of the graphic novel.
"Run. Taylor, Run"

So, for one of my design classes, I was tasked with reading a short story and then creating a cover for it that represents the story and gives a sense of it while using the design rule of hierarchy. I'm sharing this, because the story I stumbled upon is extremely relevant to what is going on today, and I thought others may want to read it as well. It does depict some harsh language and violence though, just a warning to those who might be sensitive. The story is titled "The Devil in America" by Kai Ashante Wilson and this is my take on cover art for it.
