Paws for a Cause

Last weekend I attended a fundraiser hosted by Teresa Miller which raised money for animal shelters following the wildfires that affected our community in SoCal. It was a beautiful day with our community coming together to raise about $2,000 to help towards the supplies and care of displaced animals.

As a thank you for donating, I've added an album with free digital downloads. Teresa put together Valentines Day photo ops with lots of fun props that made such cute photos. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Last month I was granted a really fun opportunity to travel with Barking Dog Images to cover the NADD Championships in Springfield, MO. So many glorious moments of screaming encouragement, celebratory tugging, golden hugs, dock rubs, and big shakes. And yes, of course, dogs bounding and leaping off the dock, occasionally baring big smiles in pursuit of snagging a toy.

It was really hard to pick only a few images to share because we covered so much, so here are some of my favorite moments I was happy to be a part of.

Thank you to Nadia of Barking Dog Images for welcoming me to your crew this year, and to the photography team for the week of laughs, camaraderie, & dog yapping.

Covering an event is a long processes. Photos need to be sorted, culled, organized by time, class, and height, then uploaded. I do my best to deliver photos as quickly as possible so you can share your memories from the weekend! The process is expected to take 2 weeks, but I'll share updates as I work through.

Excited to photograph agility again next weekend at NorAust AKC agility trial! This photo was taken at the Grand Oaks back in April. The venue is gorgeous & I love seeing the dogs dig into the dirt!
