Growing up in California, wildfires were an undeniable part of life. From school fire drills and the relentless Santa Ana winds, they became part of our norm. But in my 31 years, I’ve never witnessed wildfire devastation on this scale. Homes, schools, churches, parks, and community centers are gone, leaving thousands displaced and grieving the loss of their foundations.
Yet, amidst the heartbreak, there’s beauty in the resilience and unity of those stepping up to help. 2025 has already reminded us that life can change in an instant. What truly matters is the unwavering kindness of those who show up without hesitation. Community is everything—our greatest strength.
To the fearless first responders: thank you. Your courage and sacrifice are the heartbeat of hope in these devastating times. The love and care pouring into these communities today must continue in the months and years to come.
I’ll continue to donate, offer support, and stand with those rebuilding their lives. Together, we can make a difference. ♥️
The images in this post are from some of my favorite moments and photoshoots in the Palisades. I’m heartbroken about the home at Will Rogers Park—a place brimming with history and a place that holds so many personal memories for my family. Every summer, we gathered there for our family reunions. And most recently, where I’ve been taking family mini sessions. To see this beloved place impacted is truly heartbreaking.
