Yes this photo is very yellow but why try to dull the sparkle of the sun in post?! ✨🌞 this shoot was ELECTRIC and I had such a fun time running around the hills and eucalyptus groves of Santa Monica with Maddy and Jon. Congrats, you two!!

What a wonderful start to the wedding season!! I photographed my first wedding of the season this weekend and it gave me SO MUCH LIFE! Geez people, I adore what I get to do. The relationships I make, the relationships I get to join- the bride and her bridesmaids, both the bride and groom’s families- just to name a few. I am humbled and overwhelmed with gratitude. I’ve had bangs since middle school because I was bullied for having a large forehead. I got bangs to hide what I perceived as a flaw. Well, fast forward 12 years and IDGAF. Hello world. This is me without bangs. I keep em cause I like em, but when I’m frolicking in the ocean they get swept back into my curls and I’m 100% okay with that. I wish I could tell every young girl that confidence comes with time and that they are 100% okay. Beauty comes from within and from being true to yourself. Love fiercely. Treat others with kindness. 4. Time to slow down and spend with family. 💖 I'm on the way back from a few days on the river in North Carolina with my grandparents and aunts and uncles. Life is slower down there- you can sit on the porch, talk and sip coffee all day. ☕️ I didn't touch my electronics and it was wonderful. Hearing my 87 year old grandfather's stories trumps anything on social media, hands down ✨🙌🏼👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
