This was originally supposed to be a sunrise shoot (my first sunrise shoot), but after scouting it early in the morning a few days before and after nearly freezing to death, we quickly changed our plans for a sunset shoot and we were rewarded with the loveliest desert sunset. Isabel & Joe have been in front of my camera three times now, and I expect that number to increase over the years. Email me for your portrait session or elopements!

I don’t think I’ll ever tire of visiting and working in San Francisco. Quite easily one of my favorite cities. I love the gloom, the cold, their coastline, their parks, their food, nightlife, I love crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and exploring the woods and driving further north up to Point Reyes. I love driving through Petaluma and seeing all of those beautiful rolling hills. is one of those locations that just never disappoints. How important are these details to you on your wedding day? Does it excite you knowing that you will receive images like these in your gallery? Would you rather I be taking this time pointing the camera at you or your girls while getting ready? Or would you prefer I wait until your face gets snatched?!

I let Amora select the picture for today’s post. This tree tunnel is easily one of my favorite places in the state. It would make such a beautiful setting for an Elopement, intimate wedding, vow renewal or any portrait session. There was a lone deer grazing behind me when I took this picture. I can still feel the breeze and hear the air blowing through the trees. A remote place that I keep close to my heart. Message me to book your elopement or portrait session in this location.

Hello everyone and welcome to my world. Some of you have been following me for a very long time, years even, and you’ve noticed some changes. While I do wear my heart on my sleeve, I tend not to go into detail about the journey I’ve been on. However, this is something I’m more than happy to share with you. I’ve recently said that I don’t feel as if my work is evolving, but instead, tapping into something that has always been inside. Diving inward this past year has been so amazing. Getting to know myself intimately in so many ways has opened up a new world for me. While the wedding world has drastically changed, it’s important that I continue sharpening my tools and serving my creative soul through expression. Yesterday’s shoot came to me while laying in bed and listening to music. The vibe and lyrics immediately resonated with me and I am so thrilled to have been able to bring it to life with such an amazing team. I’m looking forward to sharing more of this adventure I am on and connecting with other creatives and couples who resonate with my journey and aesthetic.

Yesterdays shoot was an adventure. It feels great to know that I’m not diversifying my scope of work, but instead tapping into what’s already there. I’m enjoying myself, enjoying my growth and moving forward with a visceral visual language. In constant search of other creatives to play with.

Please excuse us while we manifest some sh*t for a minute. A text or two, and 45 minutes later and and I ended up with this latest story. The graphic on the first frame is wishful thinking and exercising the power of belief. While this shoot was purely aesthetic-driven. I’m looking forward to sitting down and continuing to develop and nurture more narratives, further pushing myself as an artist and storyteller. I’m currently in search of like-minded/spirited creatives who are eager to work through intention and intuition.

Birthday Twins.

Allow me to reintroduce myself. I’ll start by saying - I am worthy. The greatest lesson I’ve learned this past year. I am worthy of the love I receive, I am worthy of the success that comes my way and I am worthy of every opportunity to live my life at peace and with a full heart. To say I’m not the same man I was one year ago would be putting it lightly. I have been on a massive journey of rediscovery, self-love, self-validation, self-everything. I have reprioritized self in order to make room to welcome every abundance life has to offer. In doing so, my relationships have vastly improved, some are no more but most importantly, I am so much more in touch with who I am as a person, man, father & friend. I am now able to walk with a newfound sense of conviction that guides my every decision and leads me towards a more fulfilling life. No longer outsourcing love or validation and embracing that it all begins within. I yearn for exponential growth and projection of love while embracing life’s reciprocation.

I am so grateful for another day. Another opportunity to love, to create, to be sad, to be happy, to be lonely, to eat, to hug someone, to fight, to breathe, to cry, to experience the medley of emotions that everyday life presents. While so many don’t have this luxury. So many don’t get to come home to their loved ones. So many don’t get to see their children’s eyes again. So yes, I am so grateful.
