Some of the highlights from a group graduation session for Paraclete HS
I have varying perspectives of myself when I look in the mirror compared to when I see myself in a photograph or on video. I've been a photographer for over 5 years now and I am JUST now starting to get comfortable in front of the camera. I feel like this is a new light that I've never gotten the chance to see myself in.
I look at the world through a camera lens, whether I have one in front of me or not. I like to imagine how everything would look in a photograph or in a cinematic shot and how it would make people feel. As a kid I loved the emotions that Disney movies evoked in me and now that I'm older I look forward to super bowl commercials, creative proposal videos, music videos and short films because I want to lose myself in them. For those few minutes nothing else matters and you can enter the moment that has been created for you to experience. I want to bring that same magic to others through my work.
My mom has always kept an over abundant amount of plants in our house ever since I can remember. Some of the plants are as old as I am! I gathered as many as I could for a photo and I felt like I was in a tropical paradise. 🌿🌱
This is one of the most important gifts ever given to me by my mentor in my early teens. Little did I know how many hours I would spend flipping through these pages over and over, my mind exploding with every painting I read about. I am a perfectionist, a rule follower and instruction lover. Picasso's style shattered everything I ever felt about rules and following guidelines. He forever changed the way I looked at the world and inspired me to believe that we can be perfect in our imperfections. Although I did photoshop all the spots and tears in this photo ☠️😂
Shout out to Law School grads! Especially this beauty 🙌
It's that time of the year - Congrats to all the 2017 graduates!
Powerful imagery.

Bride/Groom Squad Goals
I had the pleasure of kicking off wedding season as the photographer for an old friend of mine and his beautiful bride! Trying to shoot with watery eyes was the only obstacle I faced that entire day.

Stunning. I need this book
These stunning photographs of Hong Kong in the 1950s are captured beautifully by a teenager. Ho Fan who arrived from Shanghai in 1949. The streets, filled with vendors, coolies and rickshaw drivers, fascinated Ho. Taking pictures in a studio was the norm then, but the Ho was more interested in r
I've seen so many people do this to art in general, not just photography. As creatives, it is important to differentiate between pointless commentary and constructive criticism. We are our own worst critic already, so spare yourself the extra doubt from people that aren't at least appreciative of your efforts.
I have a confession: I don't like a lot of photographers. I see unfounded vitriol and unearned authority slung carelessly and without reason. It makes me weary, and in a field in which it's hard enough to succeed without unnecessary negativity, I simply don't have time for it.
I've always wanted to take a stab at fitness photography, here is my first shoot with this wonderful woman I get to call my best friend.

Star Wars hype is at an all-time high. The teaser trailers, the TV spots, the toys, the apparel, the video games and more. It's an amazing celebration of the rebirth of the sci-fi magnum opus that gave me my love for all things science fiction. You'd think I might be tired of seeing it everywhere? T…

Photos from The New York Times's post
So many people go out of their way to discourage you from trying something new, different, or risky. We need more people that take the time out to encourage our growth and success without adding on to the fear of failure that we already have within ourselves. Here is a post on my experience with Johnny Cupcakes, who did just that.
We live in a world where many people are afraid to follow their dreams, are jealous of others, and are only looking out for themselves. Which is why I am extra appreciative of people that take the ...
It's small things like this that keep me going :)
Stunning photo series!!!
It’s been a hotly-debated topic for many years: breast feeding in public. Some argue that breast feeding is perfectly natural and there should be no issue with breastfeeding in public. Others argue that it should only be done in private.
Super late, but worth the wait. The Zarinana family explored Death Valley this past Easter, and let's just say things escalated qu**ky. Caution: this post contains nudity.
Ever since being back home from Chicago I've really been trying to spend more time with my mom. I get my spontaneity and wanderlust from her, so I can sense her thirst for adventure just being arou...
