Dia de Los Mu***os Celebration at Morning Sing Oct. 2014
We built an Ofrenda to Honor People Who Have Made a Difference featuring over 400 pieces of Art (real sugar skulls!) and biographical narratives written in Marline's Spanish classes with 4th and 5th Graders. Then we had a party! Pan de Mu***os and atole. Homemade flowers and homegrown goodies from the Garden Stand. Children singing and playing music. And, to top it all off, readings in Spanish of beautiful poems, both traditional and original. What at morning.... And then it was Halloween. First Post of 2 with Photos
