It’s my birthday!! If you’ve followed me for awhile, you know that I like to create an image every year for my birthday symbolizing what I want out of the next year. This year, I wanna keep it simple. I just want to be more positive and I wanna be more kind to myself. This is the year of self care and tending to my mental health!!

“Guess I’m a coward. I just want to feel alright.”

I wanna stop worrying about whether or not my art is good and just start creating again. I’ve been more caught up with the thought of what others might think than what I feel. I don’t think everything I create needs to be a masterpiece. I think the art just needs to be created. So here’s another photo with bee’s.

“The Chosen One.”
I have had a crazy rush of inspiration lately and I’m so excited to be able to create. I just got a bunch of new dresses and props and I can’t wait to use them for the new photos I have planned. Also, thank you so much to everyone who has been supportive of my art. Every time I post a photo, I have friends sharing, liking and commenting on my post and I really really appreciate the love. “When I’m alone with you.”
Today is my birthday!! Each year for my birthday, I create an image about what I want for the next year. Last year was very rough for me. There was a lot of trauma, a lot of heartache and a lot of disappointment. This year, I want to experience peace, creativity, love and adventure. I want to become the best possible version of myself. I want to dedicate more time to my craft. I want to spend more time with friends. I want to get out of my comfort zone. I want to find healing. Thank you to everyone who has wished me a happy birthday so far and thank you all so much for the love and support 💙

“It lives inside.”
Sometimes the best way to start creating again is to draw inspiration from your past work and tell a different story. There has been so much change in my life recently and I just want to put all my emotions into my art. I’m committing to making way more art this year. AND my birthday is coming up in a couple weeks so I’m conceptualizing an idea about what I want out of my 27th year. So, moral of the story, expect more art from me. I have stories to tell. 💙

“I promise you my love, there is only light going forward.”
I am having a really hard time mentally, physically, emotionally.. It’s been a tremendously hard year for me. It seems as though one horrible thing after the other keeps piling on. It gets so exhausting trying to keep moving forward but I know I must. To anyone who is dealing with a loss of a loved one(s), hard times or a traumatic event, you are not alone. I am always here if anyone needs to talk. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. There is no shame in seeking help. And no matter how dark it gets inside your head, there’s light coming.
