If you’ve gone to Vegas but not visited Valley of Fire, what are you even doing? 🔥
Nevada’s Valley of Fire State Park is the oldest state park in Nevada, established in 1935. The red sandstone formations are up to 150 million years old, shaped by ancient sand dunes that turned to rock. It only costs $10 to enter ($15 for non NV vehicles) and the best part is the park is only about 50 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, making it one of the most accessible desert escapes in the country, and a great place to go when you need a break from the casinos & nightlife. Note: hiking in the summer heat can be dangerous, make sure you stick to open trails, carry plenty of water, & go in the early morning hours before it gets to hot.
If this has you wanting to go, hit the re-share so your people can plan the trip too.
