After a few mishaps and delays I can finally say that is currently hanging at Republic of Lucha gallery wall. Part 2 of the pandemic halloween project I started along Pentagón 0M and REY FENIX , this time I brought Thunder Rosa along to complement a visual ode to classic horror and a twist of wrestling photography.
Last night we hosted a private viewing for our friends of the !!
You can enjoy this exhibit for free starting tomorrow on ROL opening hours. I really hope you enjoy and can’t wait to hear your thoughts on it 💀

El UYUYUY is at Republic of Lucha!!! The icon putting the finishing touches one an EXTRAORDINARY Lucha Art exhibit “A 3 Caídas”!!! Up for viewing in a few minutes. The official opening reception will be Saturday July 17th to coincide the return of the South Pasadena Arts Crawl, BUT if you want to come tonight at 7:30 Sergio will be here to welcome you, we’ll have drinks, music and a very chill pre-celebration if you want to join us, open to the public 21+ please. came to change the game and show the vast colors of Lucha Libre but to our surprise we found there was another hidden side of ... not only is he the most talented wrestler but he also expresses himself with colors and spiritual visuals.
If you are nearby or even a drive away you really need to come and see his paintings at our art gallery, if you can’t come you can see all of the pieces on our commemorative book signed by him. We also did march with a collage of some of his pieces in his mask shape.

We couldn’t be more excited to announce this. It’s a particular passion project for two reasons, 1) it keeps pushing the concept of further as a truly unique and one of a kind idea and space that thinks outside the box and is breaking all the rules about what Lucha Libre marketing can be, and b) the artwork is actually MIND BLOWING. When we saw ‘s paintings the first time, it was a tremendously emotional experience to see how expressive his work is. You really NEED to see this with your own eyes to understand how important this exhibit is. Hope to see you here soon!!!
