✨Announcement✨I will be rebranding & transitioning from art commissions to only etsy (in progress) 🥳 This has been on my mind since last year when it was difficult to find boho/modern art I liked to decorate my place. My priorities for work has been my RD job (healthcare is crazy nowadays!!) so with this revision, I can continue to create art to share with the world on my own time 😌 I hope to include many different themes from home decor to special events (looking at you baby mamas and bride-to-be’s!) so pls do stay tuned! 💛

A little something different content wise, but I wanted to share one of the things I drew for my anni 💛 Also, been drawing every single day for hours to unwind and relax, I haven’t felt so motivated to do art in a while (just for fun). New equipment that makes it easier definitely helps a ton! What’s keeping you above the waters during this crazy season?

I can’t be the only one who became a plant mom during the pandemic 🙈 I was inspired to make this (on my phone with my FINGERS... 😩) bc each plant has their own delicacies & through months of taking care of various kinds I think I finally feel like I know how to raise these plant babies better (and cater to their needs.. I’m looking at you calathea!!) ✨Should I make more? Tag your plant lover friends 🪴

Joy to the world! The Lord is come 🎄❤️ Besides the joy of celebrating Jesus, I am also counting my joys in my life. This year is different in its sorrows but also celebrations. I am extra grateful this year because I didn’t wake up on Christmas morning to decorate with lights alone to boost my spirits (thanks mom ✨). I told her being with her in the holidays was my wish come true and made her cry haha. It really is that simple sometimes, being with the ones who matter most to you- with food, cozy blankets, twinkle lights, and their presence. I pray for joy for all of you in whatever season or circumstance you are in this Christmas, alone or with a few loved ones. My DM is always open to talk & pray with you if you need! 🙏🏼

I miss good ol’ watercolor on paper. That’s how I started out doing small side gigs and selling my art in college when I needed to raise funds haha. But I had so much fun! Of course eventually I burned out, started to compare myself too much and it caused more stress than joy. I’ll pick it up again as a part of rebuilding myself in this season 🌹🌷

I’ll try to post more often..! It’s been a wild couple months, and I found it hard to be inspired to do anything creative for a while 🙉

If you didn’t know, I’m a full-time clinical dietitian covering acute adult & subacute pediatric units in the OC area. I am also a MPH graduate, so one day I’d love to focus more on preventative health education & nutrition counseling. For now I love my job as challenging and emotionally taxing as it can be most days. I feel genuinely lucky to be able to help people in the hospital in these extra rough times 🙏🏼 but since I work weekends and am exhausted by night, I have been neglecting self care (what’s new??) and not tapping in to my creative flow. How do you keep yourself inspired in these times?

Long time no post! Recently got back into it with this order of events signage for the lovely new bride ! Such an honor to be a part of their beautiful outdoor social distance wedding 🌿 SHOUT OUT to all the couples going through wedding/future planning in this pandemic - sending you all my good vibes & prayers 🙏🏼

This signage was a bit roughed up (scratches on the ribbon, came with the welcome lettering). I filled the scratches with a white chalk marker and cleaned up areas with a black marker. I love a good DIY challenge & helping people’s visions come to life 💛

Long time no see, I have been so so busy finishing my dietetic internship and I am finally heading into my last clinical rotations before I begin training at a long term care facility! I watched this sweet 2 year old girl play with her daddy on the monkey bars, wanting to get across like her older brother did. She made it to the end with his help but when she realized how high she was, she started frowning and refused to let go even if she’ll fall right into daddy’s arms. He told her over and over, “Let go! Daddy got you. Trust me, I won’t let you get hurt.” This smile was when she finally let go after a few minutes. Brb, grabbing a napkin 😭

I witnessed such a loving father’s heart, and just a glimpse of the Father’s heart for His children. Daughter, you are safe. Daughter, trust me - I’m here to catch you. I saw a glimpse of my own fears and lack of trust in Jesus. Frick, my heart is so full from this documentary style family photoshoot. 😭💛
