🙋🏻‍♀️U P D A T E // Hi everyone! I’ve been meaning to post here officially, but it’s been hard to muster the courage to finally share this news “officially” on my business IG, & way easier to allow it to be casually found on my website... Earlier this year (April), I decided to officially close my photography business. It was a decision that took me long nights & basically 2 years to make..

🌿At the end of the day, I had to make this decision to fully invest in things I felt more called to. It was hard putting to rest a business I worked hard for over the past 6 years, but if anything, I am always reminded that “my” business was ultimately God’s. Every opportunity was a blessing He gave to me to meet & share the stories of wonderful couples & new (&old) friends. & I’m excited for the opportunities He’s opened for me (& John) now in other ventures—ventures that I’ve actually dreamed about & hoped for!✨

I contemplated keeping my business to continue my relationships & friendships with all my past clients, but it became clearer to me as I invested in my new venture, that I couldn’t keep shooting without working way too much & not protecting time for other things that are also important—like my family & friends, or rest... 🙃

So... (John &) I want to say THANK YOU for all your support over the years! To my brides & grooms, thank you for allowing me to step into your lives to document and capture glimpses of it, & for referring me to your amazing friends & family! To my family & friends, thank you for encouraging me, supporting me in many ways and for also sharing about me with your friends! I am so grateful for each person I was able to meet, work with & learn from. My business would have looked so different if it were not for each and every one of you!

We’ll be doing a children & teens VBS, women’s ministry & construction for our sister church there! It’s always such a huge blessing getting to witness & walk alongside their ministry there!
