Heather Renee she is amazing
We have nothing but GREAT things to say about Tori and A Lively Soul. I used Thumbtack to find a photographer and Tori's response with a quote was prompt and very fair. Our photo shoot began with photos of our dog (as an excuse to have a photographer there) and ended in a proposal. After the proposal we were met with a surprise party in our backyard. As I worked to coordinate the proposal and all the intricate details Tori was very flexible and helpful, she helped to steer our photo shoot and ensure that everything went off without a hitch.
THE DOG PHOTO SHOOT
Looking at this portion of the shoot on its own, I am blown away by how great the pictures Tori took are and how she captured our dog. She has a calm and friendly demeanor which helped our dog to be comfortable and show herself in the pictures. As a standalone pet photographer we could not endorse and recommend A Lively Soul enough.
THE PROPOSAL
I set up the proposal to be a total surprise, and Tori was instrumental in making that happen. She did an excellent job of playing the part and convincing my fiance that this was JUST a dog photo shoot. When the time came to propose, Tori was prepared and ready to capture the moment. When we saw the photos, we were both blown away by how "in the moment" we felt looking at them, and immediately decided that we should order a full set of photos. I loved how flexible and into it Tori was and that helped to make the moment perfect.
THE PARTY
Immediately after the proposal, we moved to our backyard for a surprise party with our friends. Tori moved about the party seamlessly and was able to capture great moments among friends. We feel very lucky to have captured these moments in such a beautiful way.
Overall, we feel so lucky to have had Tori as our photographer and cannot recommend her highly enough. She was professional, engaging, and excellent at reading the situation and capturing the moments as they came. The wait for photo was nerve racking, but reasonable, and we were beyond pleased with the resulting photos. If you are looking for great value from a photographer, and someone who is engaging and LIVELY, turn to Tori!
