Os Mutantes - 1968
Os Mutantes is the debut album by the Brazilian tropicalia band Os Mutantes. It was originally released in 1968 by Polydor and blends traditional Brazilian music styles with American and British psychedelia. The album includes a cover of The Mamas & The Papas' "Once Was a Time I Thought", translated into "Tempo no Tempo", and a cover of "Le premier bonheur du jour", previously recorded by Françoise Hardy.

Jean Carn - Happy To Be With You
The transformation of Jean Carn from jazz vocalist to mainstream artist continues on her second Philadelphia International LP, originally released in 1978. She does her own version of Doug Carn's "Revelation/Infant Eyes."

Remembering one of the most influential singers of all time on his earthly birthday. We remember this legend and his transcendent influence on singers young and old. He tragically lost his battle to mental illness at the age of 33. He lives on in the iconic American standards he created, like “This Christmas” one of the most performed holiday songs of all time.

Walter Franco is a Brazilian singer and composer, well known for 'Revolver' released in 1975 as it was name No. 50 on Rolling Stones list of Top 100 Brazilian Albums of all time.
His exceptional work exhibits nicely offbeat guitar chords, choppy percussion sounds, and eerie vocals that tend to the experimental rock and pych genre. In its rare form this LP is available for in-store shopping here at the Artform Studio.

Grace Jones - Ill Never Write My Memoirs (2016)
Grace Jones, a veritable “triple-threat” as acclaimed actress, singer, and model, has dominated the entertainment industry since her emergence as a model in New York City in 1968. Quickly discovered for her obvious talent and cutting-edge style, Grace signed her first record deal in 1977 and became one of the more unforgettable characters to emerge from the Studio 54 disco scene, releasing the all-time favorite hits, “Pull Up to the Bumper,” “Slave to the Rhythm,” and “I’m Not Perfect (But I’m Perfect for You).” And with her sexually charged, outrageous live shows in the New York City nightclub circuit, Grace soon earned the title of “Queen of the Gay Discos.”

Ghostface Killah - Ironman (Razor Sharp Records, Epic Street, 1996)
Though it boasts cameos from nearly every other Wu-Tang member...
Ironman is unlike any other record in RZA's catalog of productions. The music is largely built on samples of early-'70s soul, from Al Green to the Delfonics, who make a guest appearance on "After the Smoke Is Clear." Consequently, the mood of the album can switch tones at the drop of a hat, moving from hard funk like "Daytona 500" to seductive soul with the Mary J. Blige duet "All That I Got Is You."

Rosa Parks (Little People, Big Dreams) (2017)
Rosa Parks grew up in Alabama, where she learned to stand up for herself at an early age. Rosa went on to become a civil rights activist. In 1955, she refused to give up her seat to a white man on a segregated bus, sparking the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Her courageous decision had a huge impact on civil rights, eventually leading to the end of segregation on public transport. She never stopped working for equal rights. This moving book features stylish and quirky illustrations and extra facts at the back, including a biographical timeline with historical photos and a detailed profile of the activist's life.
