I love the DJI Mavic Mini:
Could you add a feature that would allow the LED light on the Mavic Air 2 to flash (strobe) instead of just staying on? It would be very useful for maintaining line of sight. This should be very simple with a firmware update.
Have a Mavic that has been sitting for a couple months now wont startup, any advice or troubleshooting tips?
Does anyone know of a wireless mic to work on a 20 Ultra? Im trying to live stream but it picks up the mic on my phone. I need a mic I can put on a person so that I can live stream their audio while live streaming fb.
Hi!
I have an Osmo Mobile 3. I can't mount my phone (Huawei P30 Pro) and have it balance, without pushing the buttons on the side. Do you have any suggestions?
Just received my DJI OM4. It's awesome in action and should be able to help create some great video. The movement, Active track, camera controls, etc, through the app are all fantastic! If I only ever needed to use the Active Track feature, it would be an excellent tool.
The only pitfall I immediately encountered was the inability to invert the joystick axis. As it is, it is completely backwards of the intuitive operation. I understand using the camera as a reference point to the subject and the direction of the joystick. But, think of it like this, if I'm following a subject in front of me and it moves to my left, I instinctively move the joystick to the left to follow it...not the right. If something, such as a dog, is coming towards me and as it gets closer to my feet, I'm going to want to push the joystick forward to track the dog...not pull the joystick back to look down. It is so counter-intuitive to use the joystick while filming and following a subject.
As an example, think of your head as the joystick and your eyes as the camera. To look up, you pull your head back, to look down you push your head forward, turn head left to look left, and turn right to look to the right. That's how the joystick should work.
I've read the discussion boards all the way back to 2016 and this was mentioned as a problem with many other users. You responded in 2016 that it would be fixed in a future firmware update. Well, 4 years later and it's still a problem that hasn't been fixed. It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to add a joystick inversion option in the software app or the firmware. Until it is fixed, I won't be recommending this product and since I've only had mine a few days, I'll probably be returning it for a refund. :(
