I’ve been a little MIA on here lately! The last 48 hours have been a whirlwind. After a wonderful Mother’s Day spent at the Ren Faire, we came home and after a walk, Bean suddenly lost feeling in his back legs and was crying out in pain. As a doxie owner, I knew spine issues were a possibility and I am so incredibly careful with him. We ended up rushing him to the ER, and right away found out he had IVDD. We rushed him into surgery yesterday, and after spending the longest 24 hours apart, we finally got to see him today! He is so strong and loved, and I know that with so much hard work he will make a recovery. Tomorrow he is supposed to come home, and then will spend at least a month on crate rest. This was truly my nightmare come true, and I’m so thankful to have such incredible support (and pet insurance!!!) 💕💕💕

Shooting surprise proposals has become my latest specialty it seems 😌 I’m currently headed to shoot one this evening, and I have a few more galleries to upload and send out later tonight. This coming week launches into my busiest time of the year, with tons of events, travels, and own personal milestones like our 1 year wedding anniversary (!!!).
