Michael Mc Pherson Jr., born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Son of a professional hairstylist, Michael has been on set his entire life, using his familiarity behind the cameras to establish a comfortable, relaxed and professional environment for his shoots. He is a professional photographer who specializes in head shots, portraiture, fashion and commercial photography. With a film degree in Cinematography and with other background traits as an artist (painter/illustrator), graphic designer and web designer, he combines his expertise in all. These areas get the best out of both the camera and subject, using his artistic eye for composition to find the visuals which create compelling photographs. His work has been published with companies such as BET, Just My Style, My Super Sweet Sixteen and in magazines such as Hip Hop Weekly and Black Girls Rule, also been featured on "yourLA" on Los Angeles KNBC.
