Rae & Jonathan Destination Elopement! More coming soon!

Married in the pandemic over zoom courthouse, Rae & Jonathan planned a beautiful elopement on the cliff side over the ocean.

They got dressed separately on location. Had a first glance session! They exchanged vows for the first time… and waited for the photoshoot to exchange wedding rings.

We also shot video and drone.

It was such a special moment for Rae & Jonathan and we are honored to have captured these memories for them!

Married on the top of M. Ashland in Oregon during the summer.

Sunset sets late and and golden “hour” lasts longer.

We had our long lens on here.. allowing Chenin and Levi to have privacy and a chance to have some alone time before the celebration started.

This candid moment is one of our favorite wedding photographs we have taken.

Their love and happiness is so pure. 🤩

All this rain in SoCal has made me reminisce our last rainy Oregon Wedding!

It wasn’t a big deal because they were prepared for it!

Here are 5 TIPS for Winter Weddings!

1️⃣ For outdoor ceremonies have some sort “in door” area for meals and to warm up. This can be a beautifully decorated event tent!

2️⃣ Check all rental contracts for weather information. Things like rugs, couches, some tables etc cannot get wet. Finding out who is finically responsible for damage can’t prevent you from paying tons in surprise fees!

3️⃣ Heaters in cold months help keep your guests comfortable which allows them to have more fun! You can offer tea, coffee and other warm beverages at the bar too.

4️⃣ Ask your photographer, videographer, DJ and all other electrical vendors what their policy is during rain or snow.

We have water proof gear.. so we bag our setups and keep on shooting. Rain, snow, hail.. your moments are happening and we will be there to document and support you.

5️⃣ If you are planning inspo for your wedding photography and videography… include inspo from the weather you may be expecting. That way you aren’t disappointed and still get exactly what you want from the moments of your wedding day!
