This adventure was filled with many firsts, my initial foray into photographing this type of event, and the year I became a proud Subaru owner. The overall ambiance was lively and invigorating, and the Subaru community was welcoming and filled with kindness, they were more than just car enthusiasts – they were friends.
Through meeting individuals from all walks of life, I realized that our shared passion for Subaru wasn't just a hobby, but a connection. It's a bond that has instilled in me a love for this community, turning me into not just an admirer but a lifelong enthusiast. The Subaru bug has bitten, and I couldn't be happier to be a part of this incredible journey.

Shoutout to Bucky Lasek for being such a gem - his simulator was nothing short of a joyride! Maneuvering through those virtual curves, it was a glimpse into the skill and nerve that rally driving demands. Gained a newfound respect for all rally drivers trying to beat Bucky’s formidable time on that challenging course 🏎️.

I used to hate the summers living in California but hey…. They ain’t so bad up here lol don’t get me wrong I despise being hot still but my golly is it beautiful and boy was that water nice n cold! I can definitely see myself digging the summers up here. Lmao who am I. Can’t believe I just said that. Think I got a lil to hot today Lemme cool off and think about that.
This spot was wildly epic, I’d like to spend the night close by and catch the sunrise here. Definitely going to happen, most likely in the fall and after I lift my car.

While car photography isn’t my primary focus, I’ve had an incredible experience capturing the 2024 Crosstrek. Although I’m mostly occupied with landscape photography and teaching, delving into car photography has been enjoyable, and it’s a realm I’m eager to further explore.
Here’s a quick tip for capturing those dynamic wildlife shots: It’s all about the shutter speed! 🦅🐆
If you’re aiming to freeze a fast-paced action, like a bird in flight, crank up that shutter speed. Try starting at 1/1000th of a second and adjust as needed. But remember, faster shutter speeds need more light, so balance it with your ISO and aperture settings.
