As a US Army Veteran who merely “gave some” in the service of our country, the inherent significance of Memorial Day is very personal to me; and during the preceding weekend and day, I always take pause for moments to reflect in appreciation of those I personally knew that “gave all” in the service of protecting the freedoms we Americans continue to enjoy: Casey, Ricky, Keicia, Sam, Jose, Kyle, Amaru, Tracy, Sheldon, Eric, Tara, Andrew, Tyler, Brandon, Doug, Azhar, Joseph, Kimberly, Brian, Chad (and so many others) – know I’m thinking of you all, and ever so grateful for the ultimate sacrifice that each of you made many years ago in the service of freedom… ❤️
