UTOPIC Campos Elíseos by ULIV hotel in Mexico City where I would stay again!

I have to be honest, I didn't expect too much from this $150/night hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised! It is very clean, has a gated entry, a huge variety of outdoor seating and hangout spots, and extra friendly staff 🤝.

My personal highlight is the Honest Bar 🍸, where you can take any item from the fridge or even make yourself a cocktail 🍹 and pay from your phone for exactly what you took. There's no staff present, so you can see where the bar got its name. And there's also a pool table 🎱!

I will definitely be back to check out other properties ULIV has in Mexico City 🌇.

Mexico City 🇲🇽 is one of my favorite long weekend getaways from Los Angeles ✈️. You can find round-trip plane tickets for as low as $250 in Economy 💸, and it is a short enough flight not to take away too much time from exploring 🌆.

Some of the best neighborhoods to stay in CDMX:

🍹 Condesa
🏛️ Centro Histórico
🌸 Coyoacán

My personal favorite is Polanco, with its upscale yet hip vibe 💃. It is comfortable, easy to get around 🚶‍♂️, and safe.

Got an 8-hour layover in Paris? Make the most of it! Here's how:

1. Store your luggage at the airport. It is located next to the escalators to the train station.
2. Take a 11€ train to the city center (under 1 hour) 🚆.
3. Walk around and enjoy the sights – the Louvre 🖼️, Seine River 🌊, and a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower 🗼. You won't have time to visit any museums but will definitely have enough to explore and take pictures.
4. Use The Fork app to reserve a table for lunch 🍽️.
5. Head back to the airport with time to spare ⏰.

It's way better than to sit at the airport! ✨🗼

What to see in one day in Florence:
🏰Start at the Duomo. Buy the ticket to Giotto Tower in advance. The earliest time you can enter is 8:15 am. That's the one you want.
🥐Get breakfast at La Ménagère. P.S. This cute cafe turns into a great cocktail spot at night.
📷Walk around the historic center and make sure to stop by at Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, and Basilica di Santa Croce di Firenze.
🍚Get the best Risotto for lunch at Risotteria Menotti Firenze.
🌁Make your way to the Ponte Vecchio and try not to spend too much time at the jewelry shops. From there, you can quickly walk to the Palazzo Pitti.
🌅Finish your day at Piazzale Michelangelo with some of the best views in the whole of Italy, watching the sunset.
