As of tax time this year, I'm officially "closing" this small DBA. I'll still create art as a hobby, but I will not be aggressively marketing or selling that work. With my day job promotion this past November, I no longer have the time to create work regularly on someone else's schedule, or the pressing need to sell my work so that I can survive. Thank you to everyone who supported me, I love you all! And to those of you who still have plans with me, don't worry, I plan to make those appointments and have all the work done in a timely fashion!

Eeek. I just spent a decent chunk of the money I made on weddings this year on a new camera that I've been eyeing all year...at a Black Friday discount of $400 (we won't talk about its original list price). This is one of those moments where I confirm that I'm pretty serious about photography as an art form. Now here's hoping the $10 two-day shipping is actually two-day shipping, and it gets here before I leave for Miami!
