has your camera has been sitting, collecting dust? maybe you think it's judging you for neglecting it 😅

honestly you don’t even need it to get started with understanding photography basics!!

there’s a FREE camera simulator that lets you play around with different modes and manual settings (and it gives you feedback!) it's PERFECT if you want some extra practice before breaking out the camera!

August to November 2025 Life Update
(I forgot to add to this page... so I'm going to do that now!)

At the beginning of August it felt like the vision we had for staying in NC long term began to fall apart. At that same time a new opportunity became a possibility.. one that would take us to the Atlanta area! 🍑

In September, Kyle accepted a position at a Truett's location in the Stockbridge, GA area! (you know the Chick-fil-As that have the cool extended menus? yeah, it's one of those!)

By the grace of God (and my friend Grace 🤪) I have even had the privilege to take photos for some of these unique restaurant locations too!

In October, we officially moved down, but most of October and November the kids and I were back and forth between Georgia and North Carolina as I wrapped up sessions I had booked!

We are pumped for the opportunities in front of us and how well they line up with our passions and ambitions.

Kyle and I have both experienced seasons where our professional dreams die and we felt such a turmoil asking.. "what now?" We are walking into this new season with a presence for what and who is in front of us each day & assurance that God will lead us to do what is right, when it's right for our family!

Please keep us in your prayers during this transition, especially the kids!

We are very excited to get to know this new-to-us area and for me to continue to serve my NC clients seasonally :)

So excited to share photos from this spring wedding at 🌸

Mikayla & Wesley's day was the sweetest start to my return to capturing intimate wedding days and what a privilege it was to capture. Mikayla mentioned how much she loved a soft, pastel palette for her springtime celebration… and I was so happy to bring that vision to life through their images.

Their love story was just as intentional and lovely as the day itself. Thank you to the wonderful vendors who made this such a joyful wedding to photograph!

Hey friends! 👋

I recently disconnected my Instagram from this business page because… what I share online is a mix right now (half business, half personal) and I wanted to share things in a way that actually feels real and easy to connect with.

Instagram has always made it simple for me to post quick updates, share behind-the-scenes, and have those fun little conversations in the DMs. But Facebook business pages? Not exactly set up for story replies and creating community on-the-go as a mom. 😅
