It’s been a while since I posted my art but I’ve been busy recovering from double knee replacement. I’m getting around really well and getting ready to do some traveling again. Today I decided to try something different that is fun and carefree. I hope you like my lion. Thanks to Monet Cafe for the idea as well as teaching me that it is okay to try something different.

I completed another water color and I do feel like I’m getting better and learning more and more. If there’s ever a picture you would like to have let me know. I can’t keep all of my art so willing to part with something if you really want it. I’m not going to charge anything unless I’ve framed it. I buy all my frames at the thrift stores and usually do not spend more then five dollars. It’s a pretty cheap JoAnne Bindell Masterpiece.

I finished the horse I’ve been working on and I wish I knew who owned him. I took pictures at the Peotone County Fair when visiting Illinois this past summer. It was disappointing that so few animals were in attendance but with camera in hand I did get some nice photos. My new found love for watercolors, colored pencils and pastels has replaced my photography postings.

It’s been forever since I’ve posted anything. My time is being consumed with my desire to rewind life and do what I wanted to do after high school. God had other plans so once that calling was fulfilled I renewed my love for painting and drawing. I painted in oils back then but I really love watercolor so I’m practicing. Paul Clark YouTube has helped me immensely. I’m still taking a few photos but I really love the art. I hope you enjoy my progress. The horse is progressing nicely using colored pencils and the watercolor was done using only three watercolor paints.

Haven’t taken pictures due to old age setting in creating some aches and pains but managed to take a few of this young lady. I did her senior pictures in 2019 and followed up with college pictures in 2022! Congratulations Cheyenne.
