30+ sessions this month… and somehow my heart is even fuller than my calendar.

Busy doesn’t even begin to cover it, but I am SO incredibly grateful. Every family, couple, senior, wedding, and little moment you’ve trusted me to capture means more than you know.

I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on all of the galleries from this past month, and I cannot wait to get all of these memories into your hands!

Thank you for keeping me busy, supporting this little dream of mine, and continuing to trust me with your memories. I truly have the best job in the world.

Fair has a funny way of making you realize just how much life has changed.

I grew up alongside this Taylor, spending our summers at fair, the racetrack, friends houses…running around and making memories before we had any idea what life would look like someday.

And now I get to capture her here as a wife and a momma, bringing her own little family into a place that holds so many memories from when we were the kids.

There’s something really special about watching someone you grew up with grow into all of the different versions of herself…and getting to freeze a tiny piece of that story along the way. I love our yearly fair photos together.

We even took a few at the bench that sits at the fair in memory of her Gram, which made these photos feel just a little extra special. A place filled with memories of the people we grew up with, now becoming the backdrop for memories with the families we’ve created.

And I think that’s pretty dang sweet.

There’s just something about fair week that will always feel like home to me.

I grew up around the fair…running around these same grounds, spending long days at the barns, making memories with people who became lifelong friends, and looking forward to this week every single year.

And now, getting to walk around with a camera in my hand and capture these same moments for another generation feels pretty full circle.

The rides, the games, and all the fair time fun!

I know firsthand how quickly these years go by, and that’s what makes photographing the fair so special to me. I’m not just taking pictures — I’m getting to preserve a piece of a place that holds so many of my own memories, too.

All the spots have been booked up for tonight, however don’t let that scare you from bringing your animal down!!!

Walk up 4Her’s are welcome! Photos have not been taking 5 minutes per animal, so just come on down between the rabbit and goat barn tonight! I will be there from 6:30 until about 8-8:15!!!

We will get your photos done!!!

Surgery went well and all sessions are still on as planned! Make sure you book your sunflower minis!!!

Out of Office

Today is surgery day! I’ll be out of the office today and will be back tomorrow, August 6th, responding to messages and emails as soon as I’m able.

To all of my amazing 4-H’ers showing today, I just want to wish you the very best of luck! I’m so sad I won’t be there cheering you on in person, but I’ll be rooting for every one of you from my hospital bed!

I know my team has you all in great hands and will capture all of those special moments for me. Go make yourselves proud! I can’t wait to see all the photos and hear how everyone did!

Quick PSA’s for the week!

Reminder; this is fair week…a week we cover every single show! This ultimately means I cannot answer messages while in a show ring! I will answer messages between and after shows, and if I have a busy day, I will answer the following day when I’m not quite as busy!

Also; Wednesday I will be heading in for a quick same day surgery! I will NOT be answering messages or taking on bookings for that day! I will resume answering Thursday or Friday, depending on how I am feeling health wise! For my 4Her’s, this means there will be someone else covering the goat show! No fret, the show will still be covered, even in my absence! I look forward to seeing you all Thursday! Please bear with me during photos because I will be on the mend (but I know we will be fine😉).

Thursday and Friday ride photos for the 4Her’s are still on! We are keeping an eye on the weather and will let you know if we need to move anything around!

***ATTENTION Clinton County 4-H members***

I will be at fair again! This means, not only will I be in the ring again, but we WILL be doing ride photos with your animals!

I am trying to make things easier this year with a signup! I will also hang information in the barns on how to sign up!

Please book a time you will be there with your animals. You may book a different slot for each animal. The times are not exact, and depending on the animal it may take shorter or longer to get the shot. This is just for me to get an idea of when you will be there.

Walk ups are welcome!!! Slots and photos are free to the 4Her's!

These are THURSDAY AND FRIDAY ONLY due to show times!
