The old U of M press box from 1927 to about 1956. Then the 3 level box was installed which was used from about 1957 to just recently when the latest additions were made. Believe it or not, I've worked in all 3 of them. The only trees that are older than I am are The California Redwoods and some cactus in Arizona. Now that's old.

Do you recall when the Clydesdale Horses visited Ann Arbor? This shot was taken by panorama camera right in front of Revelli Hall. It was Sept. 29th 1979. The team was playing that day out at The University of California (and M won 14-10) but Don Canham arranged for a special game between Slippery Rock State Teacher's College and their arch rival Shippensburg. Slippery Rock lost 14-45 but they usually play in front of 8000 fans at home and at the big house there were 60,000 that day. There was an attempt to get the horses into the stadium but this was ultimately shot down. They didn't fit through the tunnel and they would have torn up the field too much.
