Legacy… It’s the stories our kids tell our grandkids about us so they not only know who we were, but so they know who they came from and what blood lives in them.

It’s the stories they tell about us to shape the generations to come.

“Papaw did hard things. I’ve done hard things. You can do hard things. That’s who you are.”

Footework exists to document that legacy so when you tell those stories you can also show them.

If you didn’t grab any photos but were thinking about it, you have until Friday to DM us to get your photos.

We delete all the unedited photos after Friday. Storage gets crazy if we don’t.

We can’t stand by and even possibly unknowingly participate in something that goes so deeply against what we value and the human beings we care deeply about.

Thank you for understanding.

This in no way is to pass judgement on anyone who does use photos of kids online. Or a statement to tell others what they should and shouldn’t post. The purpose of this statement is to merely explain our decision for ourselves.

This is a personal decision for our team.

Edit: Original post said “Supreme Court” but has been corrected for the US 7th Court of Appeals. Our decision is still the same regardless of which court.

All the square offs, all the highlight action. We are there to catch it. Up close and personal.

The emotional payoff. Whether win or lose, it’s a part of your story and it’s worth telling.

The set backs, the obstacles overcame, the dedication and sacrifice to your craft. It’s no easy task you@set before you. We want to honor that because it inspires us.

All the people a part of your story now and in the future need to see and hear your story. It’s worth telling. It’s worth letting your story inspire others.

It’s not just about the hand raise but it’s about the journey to this moment.

You may have opponents on fight day. But you’ve had to overcome so many opponents in your mind leading up to this day. We just capture the motion of that story and showcase it forever. We freeze it in time for you to look back on in a powerful way.
