One thing I’ve learned over the years is that every photographer includes something a little different.

I don’t batch edit or mass produce galleries. Every collection is carefully curated and hand edited to create a cohesive body of work that feels intentional from beginning to end.

Throughout the wedding day, I create a small collection of black and white instant film photographs. These one-of-a-kind images have a timeless, documentary feel that simply can’t be replicated digitally. Each photograph is unique and develops right before your eyes, making them a beautiful piece of your wedding day history.

✨ Digital Analog Videography
This is one of my favorite additions.

Throughout your wedding day, I capture short video clips using a digital camera designed to recreate the look and feel of vintage home movies from the 1980s and 1990s. Think nostalgic movement, authentic emotion, and all the little in-between moments that still photographs can’t preserve on their own.

✨ Artifact Credit
Every wedding collection includes an Artifact Credit that can be applied toward albums, wall art, fine art prints, and other tangible pieces designed to live in your home instead of on a hard drive.

Four hours left.

A quick note for my Sacred Proof clients and future clients.

This upcoming week will be my final working week before I step away for a much-needed staycation with my husband, my boys, and Athena.

From June 21–28, Sacred Proof Collections will be closed. During that time, I will not be responding to emails, inquiries, phone calls, social media messages, or consultation requests. All communication will resume on June 29.

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out, inquiring about your wedding date, scheduling a consultation, or touching base about your gallery, this week is the time to do it.

As many of you know, this has been an incredible season of growth for Sacred Proof Collections. I am deeply grateful for every couple, family, and client who has trusted me with their memories and allowed me to do what I love.

This week, my husband gently reminded me of something I’ve been telling everyone else for years: rest matters.

The husband even planned a little getaway for the two of us and insisted that I take a few days to truly unplug and recharge. He found the perfect little place for us to stay, a beautiful spot for a fancy steak dinner, and one of the very first things he made sure of was that Athena could come too of course because what even is my life without a camera around my neck, a coffee in my hand and Athena on my side?!?!

It was such a thoughtful reminder that the life we’re working so hard to build is meant to be enjoyed, too.

So for one week, I’m choosing slower mornings, time with my family, walks with Athena, a little time in the garden, and the chance to simply be present.

For my current Sacred Proof brides, nothing changes. As always, you have access to your dedicated contact information should an urgent need arise.

To everyone else, thank you for your patience and understanding as I take this time to rest, recharge, and step away for a few days.

I look forward to returning on June 29 refreshed, grateful, and ready for the second half of the year.

A quick note about turnaround times along with a BTS look at my Sunday where I try my best to honor the Sabbath and take a full 24-hour break. 🤍

I always do my best to get a sneak peek into your hands as quickly as possible because I know how excited you are to relive your session or wedding day. For most sessions, sneak peeks are typically delivered within 1–2 weeks. Wedding sneak peeks are often delivered much sooner, usually within 72 hours.

Your full gallery, however, is a very different process.

Sacred Proof is not a volume photography business, and I am not a batch editor. Your images are not run through a preset, exported, and delivered by the hundreds.

Every image is individually selected. Every image is individually edited. Every gallery is reviewed multiple times before delivery.

In fact, the word Collections in Sacred Proof Collections is intentional.

What I deliver is not simply a gallery of photographs. It is a carefully curated collection of images chosen to represent your wedding day, your family, your season of life, or your story in the most meaningful and beautiful way possible. That is very different from what many people have become accustomed to in photography today.

More images does not always mean a better gallery. A thoughtfully curated collection creates a stronger experience, allowing the very best images to shine rather than getting lost among hundreds of similar frames.

When you hire Sacred Proof, you are not hiring someone to simply document what happened. You are hiring an artist to carefully curate and refine what will become a permanent visual record of one of the most important seasons of your life.

Because of that, I ask all clients to fully expect a gallery turnaround time of approximately six weeks.

Could I deliver faster? Absolutely.

Would it be the same work? No.

The images you see throughout my portfolio are the result of time, intention, and attention to detail. The same care that attracted you to my work in the first place is the same care your gallery receives after your session is over.

Thank you for trusting me with your weddings, your families, your milestones, and your memories. They deserve more than a rushed edit and a quick upload.

They deserve to be thoughtfully curated, carefully crafted, and beautifully preserved.
