Now that we have all been sufficiently filled with turkey or ham, plenty of sides, family time, and thanksgiving, and then had a day of rest to work it all through our systems (or a day of shopping), it's time to turn our eye towards the small businesses in our area and support them!
In case you are still looking for Christmas ideas for family members, photos are always a timeless and beloved gift! Now is also an awesome time to get on top of scheduling your current high school junior's senior pictures!
This year I have decided to run a sale on all my currently available session offerings. Sessions are 25% off! To reserve your session and date, I do require a 50% downpayment when we book.
This sale is not going to last, though! Sale prices will run through next Saturday, December 7, 2024, and we must have a date reserved by then.

Long time no see, everyone!
Pulled my computer out recently after some MAJOR life changes over the past few years (this past year in particular) and forgot just how much I love this and kicked myself for putting photography on the shelf for too long.
Interested in helping me get back on my feet again? Here's how:

I've been working a little bit on my photography website and packages after much too long of a break and I need to update my portfolio!

What this means for you:
FREE SESSIONS - I am looking for basically everything at this point. If this is something you are interested in and want more details leave a comment or message me! (Keep in mind these would be at your house or outdoors. If those aren't options for you, we can discuss renting a studio, but that does acquire a cost! I'm also okay booking in advance so we have a date picked in better weather.)
DISCOUNTED PRODUCTS - because I'm still in the process of getting my feet wet again I don't feel it is fair to charge full price just yet.

What this means for me:
I will have you sign a model release form allowing me to use your photos on my website, page, any advertising, etc. should I choose to do so. You will also help me brush the dust off the camera and the rust off my skills!

Since it's been a good while since I've done an introduction post, and because I've been crazy quiet for about a month now I decided to introduce myself again.
My name is Marit Witucki and I the photographer, editor, creative genius (😂), and all around brain at Inspired By You Photography.
My summer so far has been CRAZY, but all for good reason. In order, I:
1. Graduated college
2. Got married
3. Attended my brothers graduation
(Those three were one weekend after another, consecutively)
4. Started a new job the day after my brother's graduation
5. Accomplished literally nothing photography wise because of the aforementioned events
6. Written too many thank yous to count
7. Attempted being a housewife (to be determined if that is successful yet or not)
8. Tried to get a handle on where my life is. I still can't believe all that has happened in just about a month and a half!

That all being said, I hope to get back into photography here VERY soon! I'm having withdrawals!

If you have any need of Photography services, please let me know! I have a lot of projects I would love to work on!

As a bonus - my husband and I were able to get THE Marc Munoz of Munoz Photography Alabama for our wedding photographer. You might remember him because I modelled for him in March at MNPPA (Minnesota Professional Photographer's Association). I was so excited to work with him again and trust him for one of the most important days of our lives. I really hope that wasn't the end of contact with him because he was that amazing!

School is finishing up and I'm about to graduate! Say WHAT?!? 😮 In celebration of starting a new chapter I thought I would do a 'Meet the Maker Monday!'

My name is Marit and I'm the owner and photographer at Inspired By You Photography.
I LOVE to be inspired by others and to help others feel inspired by themselves. I think we are each an AMAZINGLY unique human being and we need to own that - loud and proud!
I strive to make each and ever one of my clients feel inspired by who they are, inside and out. I want to give everyone a unique experience that they will treasure and as a bonus get some wonderful photographs!

A few things that make me unique:
1. I'm left handed. Did you know that approximately 12% of the global population is left handed, and the majority of them are men? Not only that, but lefties tend to choose more creative career paths. I guess that one rings true!
2. My favorite food is spaghetti 😍 especially with my Mama's homemade spaghetti sauce. In 1957 the BBC television network played an April fool's joke on the population, fooling them into thinking that spaghetti noodles grew on trees. It is absolutely hilarious! You can find it on YouTube!
3. I love fun facts 😂 in case you couldn't tell from some of my posts. I frequently give my classmates a fun fact of the day, almost every day. Heart attacks are more likely to happen on a Monday. If you are reading this, congratulations! You've almost made it through another Monday! You have one whole week before your chances go up again!
4. My fiance (soon to he husband! 13 days and counting!) is a foot taller than me. I'm going to have to build up my neck muscles for a lifetime of looking up to see his handsome face. 😉
5. I have a website coming out REAL soon! Just putting the finishing touches on it! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 And that concludes 💖

Happy hump day everyone!
I am in my last official week at Ridgewater finishing up the Professional Photography Technology program and am finishing up finals like crazy (heaven help me!).
One of my favorite snacks to eat during this time was incorporated into our video final. Calista Photography and I worked together to bring you this yummy treat. Let us know what you think below, and go give her page a like and follow!

I was given the opportunity to travel to France in the summer of 2014. One of our many stops was to Notre Dame - 'Our Lady.'
Although we unfortunately were unable to visit the inside of the Cathedral that day, that doesn't mean we weren't wowed by her presence. I had always hoped to travel back to Paris to one day see the beautiful inside. That may no longer be possible, but I am grateful for the chance to have at least been there.
While the photo isn't anything fantastic, it is my personal memory of such a beautiful part of history and my heart breaks for Paris and the world at such a monumental loss.
