Beauty and contrast can mean different things to different people. Spruce trees filled with gorgeous snow, or a palm tree solo among the cliffs...both bring such a different perspective and should be admired for the beauty and the contrast they provide to our beautiful country landscapes.
Just like your family photos. Each personality represents the unique-ness that is YOUR family.
The best investment you can make is an on-location family portrait shoot! No one is ever disappointed with family memories. Some of the best decisions I have made were to book a photographer in many of the destinations that my family has vacationed. Yes- I am a photographer, but I appreciate the art, and style of a "local" who gets how to capture landscapes that they are comfortable with (plus, I like to be in photos every now and again!) We have done this in Mexico, California, Banff, Nashville, Dallas and Phoenix.
So while many of us on our Spring Break, don't forget about the "excursion" of a photographer. You won't be disappointed!
